The A's also Win.
It is a long time now since we recorded a double victory for Aberdeen. The A's have been unfortunate in losing by the odd goal, and it was about time they were showing up a bit. In their last away match, at Clepington Park, with the Wanderers, practically a new forward line was introduced, and they seem to have come off in the goal scoring for they won by 2-1. There was little seen of nice football, but the ball was kept going ahead, Aberdeen never losing grip of the game from the very start. Carr and John Robertson were the most prominent forwards, while the halves as usual were in tip-top form. Willox was the best back, while Mutch was safe in goal.Source: Bon-Accord, 14th March 1907
