The A's at Kirkcaldy.
It was a stubborn battle for points which Aberdeen A put up against Kirkcaldy United, on Saturday. Play fluctuated first one way and then the other, chances of scoring being missed by both sides. The home side opened the scoring after a pretty prolonged siege round Mutch. Paterson was the scorer for Aberdeen and this youth bids fair to be one of the best forwards that has been introduced to the Reserves. There was no further scoring, and the visitors were pleased at getting the point on such a pitch, which takes some knowing to play on. Aberdeen's defence played well, and had the forwards clinched all their chances the points would have come north. The halves were all very effective on. Saturday.Source: Bon-Accord, 23rd January 1908
