The Under 18 season for the Dons opened with the visit of the Paisley side. The Dons opened the scoring in the 15th minute when Robert Duncan broke free and scored the first league goal of the season.
Aberdeen increased their lead 7 minutes later when Calum McHattie (Pictured right) scored from close range. St Mirren had hardly been in the game at this stage but hit the bar and the post before half time. St Mirren eventually hit the net early in the second half.
A minute later Aberdeen regained their 2 goal lead when McHattie scored his second. The game then settled into a midfield battle with few chances for either side and the Dons ended the match as comfortable winners.
