Aberdeen 'A' Draw With Q. P. Strollers
The Easter holiday Monday Scottish Alliance match at Pittodrie Park, Aberdeen, before 2000 spectators, ended in a draw of one goal each. The Queen's Park Strollers scored in the first half through McNee, outside left, and the equaliser in the second period was obtained by Boyd, who was transferred from the defence to play inside right. There was some excitement towards the close of the match, when first the Queen's Park Strollers' goal and then the Aberdeen goal were strongly attacked and the respective keepers had great difficulty in clearing the ball from amidst rushes of the forwards.

Aberdeen A and Queen's Park Strollers shared the points in a Scottish Alliance match at Pittodrie Park yesterday afternoon each scoring one goal. The finer touches of the game were supplied by the visitors, who caused Blackwell many anxious moments. Early in the first half McDonald hit the post with Blackwell well beaten, and Dinning sent past from the rebound. Blair's charge was also often in jeopardy. Watt missed by inches, then Blackwell had to hold one from McDonald. The visitors were the first to open the scoring. Stalker (Aberdeen University) crossed to McDonald, who slipped the ball to Dinning, who had little difficulty in beating Blackwell from close range.
Aberdeen rearranged their team, McBoyle going to outside-right and Grosert and Watt falling back a step. McBoyle early made his presence felt, and outstripping the opposing back, let loose a shot, and Blair just managed to tip round the post. If only for their nippier play, Queen's were value for their lead at half-time.
in the first minute of the second half Aberdeen were on level terms. Accepting from Moir, McBoyle, from about 30 yards beat Blair with a tremendous drive into the far corner of the net. The game swung quickly from end to end, with Aberdeen a trifle the more aggressive and looking most like taking the lead. Both goals had narrow escapes, the backs of each averting danger repeatedly. Queen's left was trick and smart, and "Sandy" Grosert was on tenterhooks, but always out-generalled the opposition.
