Queen's Park Strollers played as one would have expected from a Hampden side - maybe not so much skill as their opponents but "loads" of enthusiasm, of whole-hearted endeavour. The Young Dons had a good game and in the second half had brought the score to 3-0. One might have thought the visitors would by then have "thrown in the sponge." Instead they fought back in a spirited manner and to the cheers of the spectators scored a goal. Many present, one felt, would have been quite pleased to see the "Spiders" gain a point. However the Reserves were worthy of their 3-1 victory.
