Aberdeen 3 - 1 Falkirk

The Young Dons again won last week - that is always satisfactory - but it was the refreshing manner in which they set about their task right from the beginning that pleased the spectators. There were some missed chances - with a little care the final score might have been much greater in favour of the Dons - but the onlookers obviously enjoyed the enthusiasm being shown by their side. That is the spirit that we want to see at every game. The officials at Falkirk were clearly disappointed when they heard the Pittodrie score - their reserve side is considered to be good - but the visitors were no match for the Young Dons.
