Aberdeen "A" travelled to Huntly, where they defeated the home team by two goals to nil in an Aberdeen and District League fixture. Aberdeen were early aggressive, but found the Huntly defence sound. In a Huntly attack the Aberdeen goal underwent a narrow escape when Donald hit the crossbar, Aberdeen took the lead through Love, following which Huntly attacked strongly, but failed to penetrate the Aberdeen defence. Soon after the resumption Aberdeen had Laird in action, and only great defensive work kept them out. End to end play followed, but eventually Edward increased Aberdeen's lead. Huntly tried hard reduce the leeway, but failed.
