Aberdeen A just deserved to take both points in their Scottish Alliance match with Falkirk at Pittodrie Park on Saturday afternoon. The score of 4-2 in their favour was a bit flattering, for Falkirk A provided some of the nicest touches of the game. Still they were not so dangerous near the goal as the home team. White, the west country junior who figured at centre-forward for Aberdeen showed quite a few tricks, but is slow and was evidently not in his best condition. He is worthy of another chance. He has the making of a good enough centre. Love, however, was the best forward. McKenzie should come a long way yet. Both his goals were got through his following up and being in his place. Apart from the lapse that allowed Falkirk to score the first goal, the defence put in a useful afternoon's work, and kept the opposing forwards in check. Both the backs cleared their lines confidently. Ross was the best of the halves, who performed quite smartly. McKenzie's first goal was the outcome of fine piece of play by White. The centre out-manoeuvred the opposing backs, and shot, but the ball struck the post. McKenzie caught the rebound and scored. Cosgrove took his goal neatly, but the smartest goal of all was that headed in by Love. Kennedy opened the scoring for Falkirk with the easiest of goals, the ball grazing the post and sliding into the net. Hutchison got their other point with his head.
