Aberdeen 'A' Win Again

Aberdeen "A" further enhanced their chances of winning the Alliance League championship by defeating "Kilmarnock "A" at Kilmarnock by three goals to one. Aberdeen were first to attack at the start, but play was transferred to the other end, where Cooper cleared in the nick time. Aberdeen were having the better of the exchanges, and after they had forced several corners, Pirrie cleared from Cosgrove. McFarlane finished a clever run by giving Aberdeen the advantage. Shortly after the same player added a second goal. Poor finishing by the Kilmarnock forwards lost several good scoring chances in the second half. After Pirrie had saved twice from Falloon, Walker scored for Kilmarnock. Aberdeen again took matters in hand, and McFarlane completed his hat trick.
