Cruise For Young Dons

Continuing the improvement the third (pre-season) game produced a convincing 4-0 win over Rothes in the now annual contest for the Mackessack Quaich. On this occasion, there was no complaint about failure to take chances.
Derek Adams started the rout of the Highland League side by converting a penalty after being brought down, and Stephen Glass added a second goal before the interval.
The second half goals came from Dennis Wyness and Jamie Buchan, the latter scoring with his first touch of the ball after coming on as a substitute for Wyness.
