Points Divided

Aberdeen Draw at Kilmarnock.

After being two goals down at half-time in their Alliance match with Kilmarnock, Aberdeen A made a fine recovery in the second period, to divide six goals.

Even play marked the opening, but, with seven minutes gone, Napier gave the home team the lead.
Aberdeen replied spiritedly, and the Kilmarnock defence was well tested. The visitors went further in arrears, however, after fifteen minutes' play, Ramsay netting.
The Pittodrie attack again got going and Dickie missed narrowly. In another dangerous home raid Cumming failed to clear a try by Napier, and Willock rushed in to notch a third goal.
Aberdeen kept pegging away and before the Interval Burke reduced the leeway. After an opening raid by the visitors, Kilmarnock took the offensive, and Muir missed a chance.
Subsequent play favoured Aberdeen and Wilson did well to hold a great drive by Merrie.
With twenty minutes gone, Donald fastened on to rebound off the crossbar, to score the visitors second goal. Shortly afterwards Merrie secured the equaliser.
