Aberdeen 'A' Beaten At Fraserburgh
Aberdeen "A" sent a strong combination to play Fraserburgh in the first of the home-and-home finals for the County Cup. But as matters turned out, they were not strong enough, and Fraserburgh's triumph was the finest thing they have done this season. In the first half, the homesters scored through Davidson, and shortly after the interval G. Bain beat McSevick. McLaren replied for the visitors, the match ending 2-1 in favour of the Brochers.

In the first of the home-and-home finals of the Aberdeenshire Cup competition Fraserburgh, Aberdeen "A" were defeated by the odd goal in three. Fraserburgh had the better of the opening exchanges and the Aberdeen defence was kept busy. After twenty minutes' play Fraserburgh opened their account through Davidson, who fastened on to a weak clearance by McSevich. In a break-away by the visitors, a great effort by Wilson was only inches high. Aberdeen were having more of the exchanges, and Ross missed a good chance of equalising from a corner. The homesters were early aggressive in the second period, but Aberdeen soon took play to the other end, where McIntosh and his two backs were kept busy. Fraserburgh broke away, and after Buchan had struck the post, G. Bain increased their lead from the rebound. Aberdeen opened their account after half an hour. McLaren shot, and McIntosh reached the ball, but it was over the line. The Aberdeen attack was troubled by the wind, and despite desperate efforts, failed to equalise.
