Secretary-Manager Boh McGlashan kicked off in the benefit match between Arbroath and Aberdeen at Gayfield yesterday in aid of the testimonial fund to recognise his fifty years' service to the Arbroath Club as player and official.
Arbroath won by four goals to two. Cummins (Middlesbrough) and Mutch (Preston North End), two Aberdonians who were former Arbroath players and went on wear Scotland colours, were in the home team. Mutch had the hat-trik for Arbroath, whose fourth goal was got by Lamb. Green and Newman scored for the Dons.
