Our next game was against the new recruits to the Junior League Fraserburgh United. We took some time to settle on the small pitch plus some hard tackling by the Fraserburgh defence, after being down 1 - 0 at half-time, our boys hit back with three goals in four minutes, followed by two more put us in a commanding position, but slack play by our defence allowed Fraserburgh to get back into the game, they scored three quick goals to the delight of the big home crowd. But Dougie Brown scored his third goal two minutes from time to give us a hard earned win. Our other scorers were Duncan Davidson, with a tremendous shot, John Reilly with a great solo effort, and Neil Cooper with a penalty after a defender handled. I'm sure Fraserburgh United will do very well in the Aberdeenshire Junior League.
