Craig Is Quick On The Draw

Happily the game against Hibs at Easter Road, brought forward to the Friday, saw a much-improved result in the shape of a 1-1 draw. The Edinburgh side were superior in the first half as they set up their lead through another defensive mistake after about a quarter of an hour. The equaliser came when Craig Robertson neatly headed in a centre by Selbie. After that Dons were on top, creating enough chances to win the game but finishing let the side down a little.
As always the reserve team formation has been subject to changes in accordance with first team demands, a problem partly resolved by the Robertson 'family' trio. When David was injured in the Dens Park defeat and was unfit for Tannadice, Ian took over and acquitted himself extremely well. Meanwhile the popular surname did not disapĀ¬pear from the Reserve scene because, of course, Craig arrived and headed the decisive goal at Easter Road.
Those Reserves who are in the under-20 age group were then left to look forward eagerly to the trip to Italy for the big Viareggio tournament.
