Ups and Downs of Reserve Football

Gibson completely stole the scoring limelight in the second game, scoring all three goals, including a penalty conversion, which gave the young Dons a share of the points at Dunfermline.

This was another up-and-down affair with Aberdeen leading 1-0 at one stage and trailing 1-3 at a later period before producing another comeback to achieve what was, in the circumstances, a satisfactory result.
