Welcome to the Website of AFC Heritage Trust

The virtual and silent mouse click replaces the familiar audible click of a well-oiled turnstile and in entering this virtual Pittodrie you'll find information on the proud history and heritage of our shared passion.

We guarantee you'll be kept occupied for hours, whether you are an insatiable anorak for statistics, a passing browser or someone who needs a particular nugget of information to settle a pub argument or to answer that niggling question that keeps you awake at night.

It's not all statistics though - we'll be keeping the site up to date with news of Trust events, updates on Dons-related memorabilia we've tracked down or which has been gifted to us or loaned to us for The Aberdeen Collectionę and we'll regularly put in the spotlight items of interest to Reds and followers of the Black and Golds.

Even fans of other clubs are guaranteed to find something of interest here and are welcomed warmly by the Trust. Just wipe your feet on your way in.

The AFC Heritage Trust is independent of the Club and is managed by volunteer Trustees and is supported by Patrons and Friends of the Trust. The whole thing will only work with the active backing of supporters from all around the world and this means we need your donations follow the link to see what this really means.

ABERDEENSHIRE CUP - 4TH ROUND - VICTORIA UNITED V BON-ACCORD

1890: This tie was played at Victoria Bridge Ground. The Vics had most of the play throughout, but especially in the first half, for though they managed to score only one goal through Turner, they kept the ball almost exclusively in the Bon-Accord territory. They had hard luck several times, and the Bon-Accord have to be credited with playing a fine defensive game, their backs being almost impassable. In the second period the Vics, till within quarter of an hour of the finish, had matters pretty much their own way. Watson took two goals from exceptional passing by the wings, and then the Bon-Accord centre forward, Cannon, giving him an easy chance, got the ball between the uprights. A fourth goal was notched by the Vics, who thus knocked the Bon-Accord out of the ties by 4 goals to 1.
