Peterhead's Chance Suffers a Blow.

In the final of the home and home games in the final of the Aberdeenshire Cup competition, Aberdeen A beat Peterhead by three goals to nil at Recreation Park.

Aberdeen made the running from the start, and Henderson twice held from Stewart.
The homesters retaliated, and Cumming saved from Davidson.
Subsequently Aberdeen took matters in hand, and despite a gallant defensive display by Peterhead, the Dons opened the scoring through Robertson.
This reverse unsettled the homesters, and two minutes later David added a second goal.
Towards the internal Peterhead attacked, but Shannon and Legge gave nothing away.
Following a bright opening by the homesters, in which Duncan misled narrowly, Henderson made a smart save from Smith.
Aberdeen were not be denied, and David found the net from close range.
Henderson and his two backs put up a great fight, and the 'keeper saved a penalty from Oliphant.
The play of the homesters improved towards the end, but although Cumming had to save from all the forwards, tie Aberdeen goal was never any real danger.
