County Cup Goes To Aberdeen

Second Final Match at Huntly.

HOME SIDE LACKS MARKSMEN.

Carrying forward an 8-3 win at Pittodrie, Aberdeen at Huntly last night had no difficulty in winning their second final tie for the Aberdeenshire Cup by 3-0.

They took the game in hand from the outset, and playing well within themselves early tested Singer in the home goal. Huntly defended well, however, and held their more experienced opponents to a goalless first half.

Resuming Aberdeen forced the pace, and within five minutes Galloway headed a cross by Adam well out of Singer's reach. Huntly played well enough in the outfield, but lacked a marksman.
Aberdeen slackened off, and Cumming got more to do. Adam scored a second for Aberdeen, and David added another a minute later.

After the match the medals were presented to both teams by Mr V. Eddie, president of the association.
