Aaron was with the Youth Academy from the age of nine but was released at fifteen. He then played for Hilton Boys Club and Cove Rangers U18s before joining Turriff United. He was given a new deal with the Dons in October 2022 with an agreement to remain with Turriff till officially signing for Aberdeen in January 2023 when he was loaned out to Elgin City for the remainder of the season. On 15th June 2023, Peterhead announced that they had secured Aaron on a season long loan deal to continue his development. However, on 3rd January 2024 the Dons announced that he had been recalled to Pittodrie then quickly let out to Formartine United on the 5th for the rest of the season.
Aaron's contract was not renewed and on the 2nd of June, 2024 he signed for Airdrieonians.
