Signed on a short term contract after being freed by Swindon Town, Angus made an immediate positive impact in the Dons' defence. On 28th April it was announced that he had signed a two year deal to keep him at Pittodrie till 2025.
On 3rd February the Club announced that Angus was leaving to seek pastures new. Later the same day Exeter City announced that they had signed a deal with Angus to the end of the season.
