Full name: Robert Fleming Archibald.
Joined the Dons in 1914 but walked out in March 1915 because he was "fed up" with the Club. He objected to having to live and train in Aberdeen, when he wanted to live in Glasgow and train at Cathkin Park. However, he was back in harness at the beginning of the 1915-1916 season and returned to Pittodrie after the end of the First World War.
