On 23rd June 2022 it was announced that Bojan had agreed a four year deal to join the Dons. He had previously played for two seasons with MTK Budapest and was a full North Mcedonian International. He was an instant hit at Pittodrie, not only for the number of goals he was scoring but for his all-round football ability and energy, backed by tremendous spirit and humour on and off the pitch. It was officially announced on 15th August 2024 that he had joined Girona FC for what was a new Aberdeen FC club record fee. The North Macedonian international was a revelation in Red as soon as he arrived in the Granite City from Budapest, scoring 44 goals in 91 starts. He dealt with intense transfer speculation in an exemplary way and made an emotional farewell to the fans at his last appearance, aginst St Mirren, on 11th August 2024.
