Fyvie became the youngest ever player to play for Aberdeen, when he made his debut against Hamilton Academical at the age of 16. The record only lasted till 7th April 2010 when Jack Grimmer took the field as a substitute against Rangers. Fyvie's progress was severely hampered when he suffered a serious injury playing on the artificial pitch at Alloa in the League Cup in 2010. After a lengthy spell of rehabilitation he returned to feature regularly for the Dons in season 2011-2012 but had little impact. Transferred to Wigan Athletic 16th July 2012.
