Jack quickly progressed through the Academy and Youth levels, gaining an impressive reputation as he went. After a couple of appearances on the fist team bench in season 2020-2021, it was announced on the 3rd of October that he would be farmed out to Forfar Athletic for the remainder of that season. He was recalled to Pittodrie on 1st February 2021, making his competitive first team debut on the 20th of March. On the 29th of the same month Jack signed a new two year deal to remain at Pittodrie. On 13th December 2021, at the Club's AGM, it was announced that Jack had extended his deal to 2025, a reflection of the rapidly improving form he was showing in the First Team. During season 2024-2025 it looked as if Jack had plans to move on despite offers of a new Pittodrie contract. However, although he tended to be on the subs bench as the season wore on he continued to play his part when called on and made a solid contribution when brought on during the Scottish Cup Final against Celtic when he rightly gained a winners medal. His appearance came despite having been injured only a week earlier when a piece of a plastic seat, thrown from the Stand at Tannadice hit him just above the eye. Immediately after the final it emerged that he had agreed to join Plymouth Argyle on a three year deal, with the Dons officially confirming his departure on 29th May 2025.
