Jayden's career developed at Nottingham Forest where he also had loan spells with Exeter City, Forest Green Rovers and Notts County. He signed with the Dons on a three year contract in June 2022 as the replacement for Calvin Ramsay.
On 26th July 2023 the Club confirmed that Jayden was to join Stockport County on a season-long loan. However, on 12th January 2024 the loan arrangement was transferred to Colchester United. On 30th August 2024 the club announced that Jayden had left.
