On 25th June 2022 the Dons announced that they had signed Roos on a pre-contract leading to a two year contract at Pittodrie. He would be joining from Derby County. Other than a brief spell of injury he was an ever-present in the first team but left the club at the conclusion of his contract at the end of May 2024.
