The former Shamrock Rovers joined the Dons on a one-year loan deal from Glasgow Celtic and made a positive contribution to the extent that Aberdeen tried to sign him permanently at the winter transfer window, although Celtic declined to deal at that stage.
At the end of the season, Aberdeen renewed negotiations with Celtic in the hope of making a permanent signing.
