Signed from KV Kortrijk of Belgium on a three year contract. Pape had formerly featured for Senegal under-20s, but had played his entire senior career in Europe scoring 25 goals in 61 matches for Norwegian side Aalesunds before joining Belgian top-flight outfit Kortrijk in January 2020. Unfortunately Pape saw little time on the pitch in his first Pittodrie season and on 19th February 2024 the Club announced that he was going on loan to Norwegian outfit Kristiansund Ballklubb until July. Under new manager Jimmy Thelin, Pape found his way into the first team, making a significant impact in an excellent start to the 2024-25 season. Unfortunately, at the beginning of October, it was announced that he would miss up to 14 weeks with a quad muscle tear picked up in training in late September. By January 2025 the unpredictable player, renowned for his dancing celebration after scoring a goal, he regained his place in several staring line-ups. Entered the fray of the Scottish Cup Final as a second half substitute, making an immediate impact and was a part of the build-up to the equalising goal. AFter some days of speculation, the club officially announced on 1st August 2025, that Pape had been sold to Turkish Super Lig side Kas?mpa?a S.K. for a significant undisclosed fee.
