A product of the Fleetwood Town Academy, Shayden was announced as Aberdeen's 10th summer signing of 2022 on the 4th of August. He was signed for an undisclosed fee on a four year contract. In his first couple of seasons Shayden did not feature regularly and it was clear that his confidence was pretty low, but with the arrival of manager Jimmy Thelin matters changed. Jimmy put Shayden's notorious pace to good use and through season 2024-2025 he had 49 appearances albeit that 30 of these were from the bench. The philosophy was that every player had a part to play, and Morris proved this, becoming regarded as a tremendous impact player, often turning the tide of matches when he took the field. He did so well in the season that he was voted the Club's men's Player of the Year. He underlined the value of the voting by coming on in the Scottish Cup Final and firing in the cross ball that brough about the Dons' equaliser.
After staring season 2025-26 with the Dons, Luton Town approached the Club about signing the player and on 1st September it was officially confirmed that he had left for an undisclosed fee.
