Tom captained the team during season 1905-06. After retiring from football Tom eventually moved to Penicuik where he worked as a miner before he founded Strangs Football Pools in about 1922. He later moved his business to Edinburgh where he died at home at the age of 66 on 17th August 1947.Aberdeen Senior Debut
