Full name: David Bruce Smith.
Having joined Aberdeen after playing a trial match in 1961, he was a fixture with the Dons through most of the early 1960's. Dave was transferred to Rangers in August 1966 for £50,000. He played for the Glasgow team in the European National Cup-Winners' Cup Final of 1967 against Bayern Munich.
