The game between Aberdeen Select XI and Junior Select XI attracted only a fair attendance of spectators to Pittodrie Park yesterday afternoon. Apart from a boisterous wind, the weather was very agreeable.
The Seniors pressed at the outset, but without result, and the ball was carried to the other end. Again the Seniors attacked, and Robertson headed the first goal. Fenton equalised for the Juniors shortly afterwards. The Seniors showed themselves the superior side, however, and Sergeant Fraser gave them a second goal with a fast shot, and before the interval scored another point.
The only goal obtained in the second half was scored by brown for the juniors, but the game continued quite interesting till the end.
