After the interval at Brockville we learned with surrise that the floodlighting was not going to be used after all, although the Dons had agreed to have it. It then dawned on us that we should have known from the start since the referee had started the game with an ordinary ball. As the rule stands, he cannot then call for a white ball in the middle of the game.
