The Dons came from behind twice only to be beaten by a strike from substitute
Mark Burchill.
The Dons got off to the worst possible start when Regi Blinker slotted home
in the opening minute.
It stayed that way until Andreas Mayer levelled with a great shot in 55 minutes
after good work from Russell Anderson. Five minutes later Tommy Johnson restored
Celtic's advantage.
With eight minutes remaining Mark Perry, now third top scorer, looked to have
salvaged a draw when he fired home after Jonathan Gould spilled an Eoin Jess
shot.
Chances of a Dons point evaporated though when youngster Mark Burchill shot
home in the 88th minute with what proved to be the winner.
Jim Hamilton and Michael Hart were replaced by Derek Young and Dennis Wyness
in the second half.
