Attendance: 0
Venue: Palmerston Park, Dumfries
Aberdeen opened a short tour on Saturday, when they divided four goals with Queen of the South at Dumfries. The weather was atrociously bad, and in consequence the attendance was small. Queen's were first to score, netting after clever work by McDermid and McGarvie. Aberdeen as the outcome of a spectacular goal by Jackson, who broke away from near midfield, and, beating all opposition, landed the ball in the net. In the second half both teams showed clever touches. J. Jackson gave Aberdeen the lead from a penalty, and Halliday equalised before the close.
