League game, at Kilmarnock. With the wind behind them, Aberdeen opened splendidly, forcing three corners, from one of which Main headed through. The home team improved, and Whittle, Cunningham, and Goldie were unfortunate with capital shots. From a breakaway Walker scored a second goal for Aberdeen. Near the interval, Culley cutely turned the ball past Greig. That no further scoring resulted was due to the magnificent defensive work of Wyllie and Colman. Result:- Aberdeen, 2 goals; Kilmarnock, 1.

Aberdeen played their second last Scottish League match of the season last night, when they defeated Kilmarnock at Kilmarnock by 2 goals to 1. Rain fell heavily during the game and there was a very small number of spectators present. Early in the game Main headed a goal for Aberdeen, who had the better of the exchange's for some time. Ultimately Kilmarnock took up the running, and only a brilliant Aberdeen defence kept them at bay. From a breakaway, Walker put Aberdeen further on the lead, but before the interval Culley scored for Kilmarnock. The second half was keenly contested, but there was no further scoring, and Aberdeen won in clever style.
