McKay Shock For Wee Dons
After our 6 - 0 drubbing at Ibrox, we got back on the winning trail winning by 2 - 0 at Tannadice. We also played Ellon United Juniors at Ellon in a friendly game where we registered a 3 - 1 victory. In a league game at Pittodrie we beat Ayr United by 4 goals to one. In the game against Rangers lack of experience was our downfall. Due to injury and illness we had to field one of our ground staff boys Andy Dornan in our defence. Andy had been showing up well in our practice games, as a defender. He played well enough to suggest that we could call on him at any time. Andy Watson and Doug Rougvie worked very hard and could not be faulted. Alec McLeish was another player who did very well and he probably finished our best player.
