Valuable lesson learned

The Pittodrie second-team squad were on the receiving end of a sharp lesson recently when, in the wake of a four-game winning series in the Premier Reserve League, they stumbled at home against St Mirren, going down to their middle-of-the-table opponents by the only goal in the game.
Coach Willie Miller feels that complacency, stemming from their successful run, could have contributed to the lapse. Losing an early goal, the young Dons let chances to retrieve the stuation slip by, but the main trouble seemed to be the players forgetting the good habits they had built up in the preceding games.
