Hibernian 5 - 0 Aberdeen

Scottish League 'C' Division
Hibernian scorers: Souness, Souness, Sanderson, Sanderson, Higgins

15/12/1951 | KO: 14:15

DEFENSIVE blunders contributed to Aberdeen reserves’ heavy defeat at Easter Road. Each of the five goals scored by the home team in the first half could be traced to a mistake by a defender.
Watson, the goalkeeper, was the only man who could not be blamed for the five goals scored by (2), Sanderson (2). and Higgins.
There was a transformation after half-time, but although the Dons' half-backs got a grip of the game, their forwards were too light to force home the advantage they had gained in the outfield .
