There were 1500 spectators at King's College Grounds, Aberdeen, yesterday afternoon when in a game in aid of the funds of the Infirmary, an eleven from the Aberdeen F.C. defeated a University eleven by 4 goals to 0. The game throughout was enjoyable throughout and the big score in favour of the Aberdeen team scarcely did justice to the students, who had quite as much of the play but were weak at close quarters, especially in the second period, although Stewart twice saved what were almost scoring shots by McCombie. The University custodian, W. G. Walker, also played well, and was unfortunate be beaten with shots that gave him no chance. The goalscorers were Lawrie (2), Bannerman, and Watson. The outstanding players were Stewart, Massie (back), Booth, Duncan, and Watson for Aberdeen, and D. R. Dugan, C. P. Murray. A. McCombie, A. Stalker, and F. Alexander for the University.
