Cove Rangers 2 - 4 Aberdeen

Aberdeen's last opportunity of capturing a cup for the Pittodrie boardroom comes tomorrow week when they face Deveronvale in the final of the Jarlaw Aberdeenshire Cup centennial competition. The young Dons' form in the earlier rounds of the event have been impressive, particularly in the matter of scoring goals, as they have netted nine for the loss of three in accounting for Cove Rangers and Keith in successive away ties.

At Allan Park, Malcolm Kpedekpo was twice on target, while Dennis Wyness and Dean Windass also contributed goals to a 4-2 win over Cove Rangers. Before claiming the visitors' fourth goal, Windass had struck woodwork with a spectacular shot and produced the run which led to Kpedekpo's second counter.
