11/10/1947 | KO:

Aberdeen "B" just scraped through in one the best Aberdeenshire League games ever seen at Victoria Park, was the severest test the Aberdeen side has had in the competition.
With the wind behind them in the first half, Buckie dominated play and opened the scoring through Day, their most versatile forward.
The home team were still having the better the exchanges after the interval, and appealed without avail for a penalty following a goalmouth scrimmage. Two quick goals, rather against the run of play, gave Aberdeen the points.
