Aberdeen "A" more than confirmed their recent win over Falkirk "A" with an emphatic 8-2 victory at Brockville Park on Saturday.
The re-arrangement of the Aberdeen side made for solidity. Curran had a great game in goal, and was ably supported by Roy and Robson. But it was the understanding between half-backs and forwards that really put paid to Falkirk's chances.
The wing half-backs stopped the inside men, and Thomson completely dominated the centre of the field. In attack, Kelly's speed and dash made him an ever-present menace.
Botha and Millar kept play moving on the wings, and the trialist, Hawson, paid his way with a couple of goals. Except for a series of spasmodic raids, the home side was completely outclassed. Fleck (penalty) and Andrews got their counters.
