New Recruits Star for Aberdeen 'A'

HATHER and Finlay, Aberdeen's two recent recruits, gave another good display against Celtic "A" in the Young Dons' 3-2 win at Pittodrie on Saturday.

Hather was outstanding in the forward line and his goal was well taken.
A trialist at inside right showed some intelligent touches and sent in some good balls, though the pace seemed too fast for him.
Baird had to leave the field with a leg injury in the first fifteen minutes and was unable to resume.
Celtic piled on pressure in the second half, and though Robson, Emery and Roy defended well, had it not been for 'keeper Frank Watson, who gave a brilliant display, Celts might well nave turned the tide.
Emery, Thomson and Hather were the Aberdeen, marksmen, and Gormley and Taylor scored for Celtic.
