Archie Baird Was Young Dons' General

ARCHIE Baird, back again after long absence, came through a searching test in Aberdeen "A's" tussle with Partick Thistle reserves on a heavy Firhill pitch. He was the schemer-in-chief and provided many good openings.
Millar was a dangerous winger until he was injured, while Archie Glen had a good game at right halfback. A draw was a fair result of an interesting match.
Glen and Millar combined well before the winger opened the scoring in the first half. After Martin had equalised, Gibson restored the visiting team's lead shooting past the advancing goalkeeper. Crawford got a late equaliser.
