The Dons only have two games remaining, both against Dunfermline, as they look to close out their inaugural league campaign undefeated.
There was a nice touch before kick-off as the home side provided a guard of honour as the new champions took to the field. The visitors had new signing Gail Gilmour on the bench whilst Chloe Gover returned to the starting line-up after a long spell out injured.
A fast start has been a feature of much of the Dons games this season and this one was no different as they grabbed the opener after only 7 minutes. Francesca Ogilvie pounced on a loose ball just inside the Raith half and played the ball inside to Lauren GORDON who found the bottom corner to open the scoring.
It was almost two just a minute later as an over-hit Jessica Broadrick shot clipped the top of the crossbar. Gordon then again went close, as she flashed a shot just wide as the visitors looked to add to their lead.
The next opportunity for the Dons came from a rare Rovers corner on 23-minutes. The corner was cleared out of the area and Eilidh Shore sparked a swift counter attack. Shore brought the ball out of her own half and fed Gordon as the Raith defenders struggled to get back behind the ball. Gordon then set up Gover for a shot at goal but her powerful effort was well held by the keeper.
Shore fired a shot from distance over the bar, as did Gover, but the Rovers defence held out until the 32nd minute when Aberdeen doubled their lead. The goal came from the same combination as the first as Ogilvie's ball inside found GORDON who crashed a powerful shot into the net, giving Chloe Hunter in the home goal no chance.
It was 3-0 after 36-minutes as the Reds put together their best move of the match up until that point. Some good passing play started off with a Natasha Bruce tackle in midfield and culminated in Loren Campbell playing a great ball down the right for Eva Thomson. Thomson got to the by-line and squared across goal where BROADRICK was running in to fire home from close range.
It could have been four just before half time but Gordon's quick turn and shot flashed just wide of the up-right and the visitors had to settle for a 3-0 lead at the break.

Aberdeen freshened things up at half time as Eilidh Shore, who had just returned from Scotland duty in Poland, was replaced by Sophie Jamieson. Gail Gilmour was also handed her debut as she replaced Anna Blanchard between the sticks.
The second half started well for the visitors as they noticeably picked up the pace of their passing with Gover and Gordon both missing target in the opening minutes of the half. Raith goalkeeper Hunter then produced a fine save as she dived full length to tip a Gordon short on to the post.
Sophie Brown then replaced Gover who was given an hour on her return to action, the reshuffle saw captain Kelly Forrest move into midfield and she almost scored a minute later. Forrest's curling effort from just outside the area was well saved by Hunter, who was having quite a game.
The home defence eventually succumbed to the pressure and the fourth goal came after 68-minutes. Forrest's cross-field pass found OGILVIE on the left who cut inside onto her right foot and fired a shot high into the net.
Four became five in the 68th minute as the champions began to really pull away from their hosts. A great flick by Jamieson on the right found Campbell overlapping and her cross was right in the path of Eva Thomson. Thomson's shot seemed goal-bound but landed at OGILVIE's feet and she finished off the move for 5-0.
Jamieson nearly came close to a goal on 75-minutes as she found herself running clear through on goal but Hunter anticipated the ball through and blocked at Jamieson's feet with Ogilvie unable to score from the rebound.
Aberdeen made it six-nil in the 78th minute as Gordon completed her hat-trick. Brown clipped a great ball in-field to find GORDON who controlled and finished from the edge of the box. It took less than sixty-seconds for the Dons to make it seven.
Forrest showed good footwork to step away from her marker in midfield before threading the ball through to JAMIESON who made no mistake as she finished from the right side of the area. Aberdeen were totally in command as the home-side struggled to get a hold of the ball and the visitors were in no mood to sit back for the remaining minutes.
GORDON grabbed her fourth of the game with two minutes remaining as she collected in the centre of the pitch and shot home from the edge of the box. Then, in the final minute of the match, Gordon and Jamieson combined well to tee-up THOMSON whose terrific finish completed the scoring at 9-0.
