Heart of Midlothian 3 - 2 Aberdeen

Aberdeen U18s finished their season and mini-league campaign with a disappointing performance this evening at the Oriam in Edinburgh. The home side raced into a three goal lead before the young Dons pulled a couple of goals back late on but Barry Robson's side were unable to force an equaliser. Hearts were two up at half time and then on the hour mark added a third. At that stage it looked game over but the young Dons did improve and almost got something from the game. In the last ten minutes Kevin Hanratty, who was given a long term deal this week, scored an excellent free kick and then Tom Findlay added a second with a header. But it was too little too late.
