With eleven goals lost in four games the focus is on the Aberdeen defence. Too many goals have been conceded in the League this season. Aberdeen's plan for the future must include the strengthening of this department.
Billy Smith, the former Sunnybank forward, cme through his Scottish "A" Division baptism at right back with credit. The conditions were not a fair test, but the young fellow played colly and kicked well. It might be worth while giving him another chance on Saturday.
