Aberdeen ended the season on a high with an away win against champions Rangers. The young Dons had the better of the play, but were unable to breach the home defence in the opening 45 minutes. The Dons were awarded a penalty in the 67th minute and Scott Michie confidently converted the kick. Rangers had the chance to level when they were awarded their spot kick in the final minute, but Rangers Hutton sent the ball wide of the target to ensure the Dons held on for a deserved victory.
